I'm Omar Mussehl. I grew up in Seattle, but have lived on the east coast for all of my adult life. New York City is now the place that I call home, and I have loved every minute of it. Being an adult now, I have the ability to go wherever I want to go, and when I do travel I bring my camera everywhere. I got my first big boy camera in 2020, the Fujifilm X-T4. I was a total beginner at first, but each trip taught me a little more. From learning how to edit raw images, the first time I shot a video in log, and just seeing the entire ecosystem of gear, I was able to get a glimpse of what my favorite creators were doing and how they were doing it. And most of the time for them, they just put themselves out there for the world to judge.

Growing up, I always looked out at Mt. Rainier and the Olympic mountains, but it wasn't until recently that I went and explored them for myself. My Mom was born in South Korea, and I didn't get to see where my family came from until 2024. Basically, what I'm saying is that it's never too late to just go do it, whatever it is, from hiking the grueling Cactus to Clouds, getting lost in Tokyo, or that hair transplant in Turkey (I did not do that one, but I've been there).

So, what is this site? For me, it's a creative outlet, and place where I can share my thoughts, and for you maybe a travel blog, a way to see some of my creative work, or a place to feel inspired.
